means that Darkis or Tethys is now handling the rewarding instead of Pixie having to do all of them through the tradehouse, then I guess at some point in time the winners' accounts get locked for a minute and the item gets added to inventory during that time.
Other than cases of 2 people with the same name in a city or winners changing cities before getting their rewards, Pixie providing Darkis/Tethys with city+playername probably is enough.

Due to sniper activity and having too many shiny prizes to risk losing when passing over to their new owners these will now be given to the winners in a safer and sanity saving way!
