The daily goal should not target only 1 hero in order to complete the task. Multiple heroes should be able to purchase the item"
My situation today is even worse (and I've had similar situations in the past). I have to sell a Moonlight Cap 4 times. That's a level 10 item, and my lowest hero is level 17. There's zero chance of any of my customers even accepting one as a substitute, much less asking for it. I tried selling one in the Trade House, but that didn't count. Mission impossible. At the very least, if such a silly item is requested at all, selling it via the Trade House should count (or the instructions be reworded: "sell a X Y times" does NOT say "sell X Y times to a shop customer")
The suggest range is 7 levels.
As far as I've understood it does a "dumb" "give me an item within suggest range of any hero" the moment the daily procs without any modifiers/parameters, so if you're unlucky you can indeed have an item at the lower edge of the suggest range of just one hero and if you don't pay attention then level that hero out of range. As far as I understood, a fix would involve a complete rewrite of that "sell" daily, which they didn't prioritize because the small group and small impact (1 fragment and 0-6 days of bag progress).
I wonder if it wouldn't be a quicker fix to add a "reroll" option to either the "sell" daily or dailies in general...
