Also, is the compensation thing still happening?

"The team is also working on some sort of compensation for the various issues folks have had lately which may be themed around Halloween."

During that time we had several days where folks couldn't login and they were credited gems, such as 100, 150.

not blizzard. all gaming companies do it. for example, riot games (league of legends) teased us with replay system for 4 years (however they only said once they are making it and it will take time, then we waited 4 years. however we DID get a LOT of content aside from the replay system during those 4 years).
