Loot Rolls

My apologies for a real newbie question.

After a successful dungeon run with 3 heroes there are 3 loots. They are lit up in succession, until one is picked. I keep trying to select one (by clicking on it, around it, clicking anywhere) and am not sure my clicking has any affect. Sometimes it does seem to speed the process, though. (I am playing via Steam on a desktop - Windows 10 - if that matters at all).

So the question is, does player input have any effect on the selection made, or is it purely random?

It's random, but you can speed up the animation.

AFAIK, its random...
Its just the animation makes you feel like you have the 'power' to influence the loot

What Suizul said is correct, the roll is random, clicking will only skip the animation.
