Winter Package?

Postby cray36 » Mon Jan 09, 2017 8:44 am

Any news on the winter package? Looks like it first came out around Jan 12th last year, and haven't been able to find any news yet on if it will be released again. Been looking forward to Frostfire Gauntlest for a while now!

December 2016 patch notes were 13 days later than december 2015 patch notes.
So I guess it will probably depends on it they rushed an update with just tradehouse fixes and packages for stores approval or if they decided to work some content into it, if there will be a mid-january or end of January update (assuming the packages aren't in the current update yet) .
Though with valentine's day on feb. 14th and packages usually lasting 14 days, the latter would get close to back-to back packages...

Patch notes were revealed on the 12 of January 2016, and no one knew about it until then, so I expect something similar. If not they may lump winter in with valentines day. However I think they may lose out on some revenue by doing this...

You can be pretty certain that releasing packs will be the absolute last thing to get scratched off the schedule. Cloudcade is in this for the money so anything that generates revenue is probably top priority.
